Our Comfrey Salve is carefully crafted from the leaves and roots of comfrey plants (Symphytum officinale) grown and harvested right here at Perma Pastures Farm. These plant parts are naturally rich in allantoin, a powerful compound celebrated for its ability to support the body’s natural repair processes.

Allantoin is known for encouraging healthy cell proliferation and tissue regeneration. It helps soothe irritated skin, supports the formation of new tissue, and promotes smoother healing of minor surface damage. Combined with comfrey’s natural anti-inflammatory compounds (including rosmarinic acid and mucilage), this salve delivers gentle yet effective support where it’s needed most.

Apply a thin layer to clean, unbroken skin as needed for:

•  Minor cuts, scrapes, and surface wounds – Supports faster tissue repair and helps minimize the appearance of scarring

•  Bruises and contusions – Eases discoloration and tenderness
